ROTARY INTERNATIONAL REALIZARÁ LA CAMPAÑA DE SALUD CONTRA LA HEPATITIS C EN CANCÚN

El objetivo de la campaña es realizar 100 mil pruebas gratuitas que permitirán detectar en segundos al virus.

Destacaron que la prueba y el tratamiento superan los siete mil pesos, por lo que hacen un llamado a asistir a la jornada y si al resultar positivo requieren tratamiento, este corre por parte de Club Rotary.

“Creo que de alguna manera esta campaña nos va a permitirá a nosotros hacer conciencia en todas las personas y en las que se consideran vulnerables” destacó Tito López, coordinador de la campaña del Distrito 4195.

Sin embargo, la prueba será únicamente para personas mayores de 40 años o quienes anteriormente hayan contraído el virus, el cual será remitido para un examen de confirmación para su seguimiento.

Los presidentes de los cuatro clubes rotarios de Cancún que participarán, exhortaron a la población a asistir a las pruebas debido al riesgo que presenta esta enfermedad y con esto buscan romper el silencio y concientizar sobre la detección temprana.

“Muchas veces es una enfermedad que no presta ninguna molestias y de repente puede aparecer con graves consecuencias y la idea es que se realicen está prueba”, afirmó Tito López.

Las pruebas se llevarán a cabo en 4 puntos distintos de la ciudad:

Club Cancún: Miércoles 24 al domingo 28 de julio de 9:00 a 14 en la clínica 3 del IMSS

Club Cancún Bicentenario: 25 y 26 de Julio en plaza las Américas de 15:00 a 19:00

Club Cancún Internacional: 25 de julio en horario de 9:00 a 14:00 PM y viernes 26 de 14:00 a 18:00 en el hotel Excellence Playa Mujeres.

Club Cancún Zona Hotelera: 25 y viernes 26 de Julio en la unidad familiar No. 16 del IMSS en la avenida Nichupté. (Noticaribe)

In an exclusive interview, the 41st and second female President of Rotary Club of Warri, Rotarian Bridget Ideji, told Our Senior Correspondent that the campaign which was in partnership with Rotary International, will assist those with Hepatitis B disease with free drugs.

She noted that Hepatitis B which is a liver disease, should be treated as soon as it is detected.

Rotarian Ideji stressed the need for people to pay adequate attention to their health and go for routine medical check- up, so as to detect any ailment at early stage.

She commended people of Warri for their massive turn out during the exercise and assured of provision of drugs as well as efforts to complete the Physiotherapy building at the Central Hospital, Warri.

Em Naviraí, Sanesul apoia Campanha Hepatite Zero realizada pelo Rotary

No dia 27 de julho, a unidade da Sanesul Naviraí participou da Campanha Hepatite Zero, “World Eradication Project”, apoiando o Rotary Clube Integração. Essa campanha é mundial e visa erradicar as hepatites virais do mundo.

A Sanesul cedeu o espaço das instalações, que são estratégicas em Naviraí tendo em vista a localização do prédio bem no centro da cidade.

Segundo o Rotary Clube, no Brasil existem 3 milhões de pessoas contaminadas. A Hepatite C é a que mais mata responsável por 70% das mortes. A boa noticia e que 90% dos casos de Hepatite C são curáveis. Por ser uma doença silenciosa o diagnóstico é imprescindível para um tratamento adequado.

El evento, que tuvo una multitudinaria participación por parte de la población, contó con el importantísimo apoyo de la distinguida rotaria, Virginia Soto Dávila (del Club Rotario de Guaranda); quien tomó la iniciativa de reunir todos los insumos, almacenarlos en su casa y distribuirlos el primer día de la campaña.

En la acción participaron diez clubes rotarios que ofrecieron pruebas rápidas para la detección de la hepatitis C a los pobladores de la región. Los profesionales de la salud, involucrados en las jornadas, manifestaron su satisfacción con el magnífico resultado del tan esperado evento

The Rotary Club of Agbor in collaboration with Rotary Club of Boji Boji Urban and Rotaract Club of State School of Nursing observed the 2019 Hepatitis Zero Awareness Campaign

The Rotary Club of Agbor in collaboration with Rotary Club of Boji Boji Urban, Rotary Club of Ogwashi-Uku Gateway and Rotaractors of Rotaract Club of State School of Nursing, Agbor, observed the 2019 Hepatitis Zero Awareness Campaign of World Eradication Week.

The free medical exercise featured screening of blood for the deadly Hepatitis B & C, door to door advocacy and awareness campaigns.

It will be recalled that it was done in partnership with the Rotarian Action Group for Hepatitis Eradication.

The Flag off was done at Ika South Local Government Secretariat by the Executive Chairman who was represented by his Vice, Hon. Mrs. Agboma. She thanked the Presidents and members of the Rotary Clubs involved in this kind gesture, adding that the exercise was in tune with the Delta State Governor’s agenda “Healthcare For All Deltans”.

She pleaded for extension of the exercise to enable more persons in the rural areas to benefit from the programme.

In same vein, the Chairman of Ika North-East Local Government who was represented by his deputy, Hon. Mrs. Kelechukwu, thanked Rotarians and urged the people of the local government to take advantage of this opportunity to get tested.

The highlight of the occasion was testing and rendering counseling services to the mammoth crowd that turned out for the event at no cost to them.

The exercise continues tomorrow in both local government council areas.
