Thousands of lives have already been saved thanks to the actions of our ambassadors.

 

We were immensely proud to announce one of the most significant milestones in the fight against hepatitis at that time: Hepatitis Zero Week – Africa, which took place in July 2019. Hepatitis Zero Week – Africa represented a massive team effort that involved simultaneous actions in all African countries.

 

Half a million free tests were conducted in the population with the aim of detecting the virus. This was the largest campaign ever seen on the African continent focused on hepatitis eradication.
